2018-22 October 9, 2018 FY 2019 Appropriations; FAA Reauthorization Update

By Cynthia Hilton, Legislative AdvisorOctober 9 2018

On September 26, 2018, Congress enacted and two days later the President signed a continuing resolution (CR) to fund the government through December 7, 2018, thus preventing a shutdown of federal departments and agencies that have not yet seen their respective spending bills for fiscal year (FY) 2019 enacted. Among the funding bills that are still pending is the “T-HUD” package, which covers the Department of Transportation, including PHMSA.

Click here to read Ms Hilton's full report on PHMSA's FY 2019 Appropriations and an update on FAA's multi-year reauthorization. That follows up to HazMat Alert No. 2018-21, September 26, 2018 “FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018” Moves Ahead - Hazardous Materials Provisions.”
