Acceptable Applications: MAC platform QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.

Acceptable Media:  Hi Resolution PDF via electronic submission.

Fonts: All fonts used must be included (printer & screen fonts).
Only Postscript fonts accepted.

Proofs: Advertiser must supply a proof (digital file) of ad in color for all four-color ads and a proof in black & white for all black & white ads.

General Information

General Rate Policy Advertisers and their agencies assume any and all liability for all advertising content (including text, illustrations, and representation), including any claims made against the publisher. Publisher assumes no liability for any content and reserves the right to reject advertising which fails to meet the standards of The Journal of HazMat Transportation.

Short Rates & Rebates
Advertisers will be short rated if they do not place the number of advertising insertions upon which their billings are based, within a 12-month period (six issues) from the date of the first insertion. Advertisers will be rebated if they have used enough additional insertions to warrant a lower rate than that which they have been billed, within 12 months (six issues) from the date of the first insertion.

Rate protection
When new rates are announced, advertisers will be protected at their contract rates within 120 days after the effective date of the new rate. Advertisers may cancel their orders at the time the new rates become effective without incurring a short rate charge on insertions already made, provided the contract has been earned up to the date of cancellation.

Promotional Rates and Discounts
Advertisments receiving special promotional or discounted rates must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date. Failure to do so will result in a price increase to the standard rate.

Cancellations
No cancellations will be accepted after the closing date.

 

NOTE: In the event of nonreceipt of advertising materials, publisher reserves the right to insert any recent material provided by the advertiser.
